Customer Review: Worth the price
I love this mixer. I had an old hand-me-down mixer I never used for anything because it was cumbersome, didn’t mix well and was a pain to put together and take down. This mixer was on sale around the holidays and I splurged on myself. I love it. I have used it 20 times in 3 months, which is about 10 times more than I ever used my old mixer. This goes on my list of things that are totally worth the high price. Sometimes you do get what you pay for and this is a quality mixer.

Customer Review: Very nice, sturdy knife
I got one of these when it went on sale, and paid a low price. So I didn’t hesitate when the need arose to treat it rough. I had to open some steel banding on a pallet (the kind where the steel bands get perforated and bonded together with a crimping tool, not an extra clasp). Using a 15 pound wooden post, I hammered the flathead screwdriver into the crimped steel. (if it folded, that would have hurt) Pow! The knife emerged looking nearly new. The steel band, not so much. Recommended. As one other reviewer mentioned, the philips head screwdriver on this is on the side, and kinda sucks. But the locking knife and locking flathead let you do things with this knife you simply cannot do with a regular swiss army knife. In addition to the fact that 2 of the blades lock, both of them are quite a bit sturdier than the blades on a standard Victorinox knife. Also I’ve used the can opener, which is also sturdier than on a standard knife, and it works very smoothly.

Let’s face it, ladies… Most of us aren’t wearing elbow-length satin gloves on a daily basis — only for formal occasions. And these worked out great for the one evening I needed them. I ordered them in black; they looked slick and lasted me through the night. If you’re looking for long satin gloves, these will do the trick.

The face on this watch is bigger than it looks. If you have difficulty reading smaller numbers, I recommend this watch. If you are tired of people asking you what time it is, this watch is great because anyone within a few feet of you can already see the time =)

About Swiss Army Knives
In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Victorinox makes great swiss knives. My humble opinion is that for a knife to balance functionality and practicality (what’s the point of having a knife with 150 different functions- you can’t carry it comfortably in your pocket, let alone comfortably grip the thing to actually use it), it must have 1 blade, a can opener, a bottle opener, a corkscrew and scissors. The tweezers are a nice thing to have as well. This “Climber II” fits the bill (with a few extras too), and at $13.99, I bought a bunch of them to have on hand for gifts.
